Job summary

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic Server to join our team. You will seat guests, take accurate orders, monitor dining rooms and ensure timely, friendly service in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates have a High School diploma, at least 1 year in a hotel/restaurant serving role, and a current ServSafe certificate.

Strong multitasking, POS knowledge, and beverage/wine familiarity are a plus. Flexibility and teamwork are essential to thrive at SHG.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; post-secondary education preferred.
• Minimum of one year in a hotel/restaurant serving role preferred.
• Current ServSafe certificate is required.

Responsibilities

• Seats and takes accurate food orders from guests.
• Monitors food distribution and ensures proper presentation.
• Check station before, during and after shift for setup and cleanliness.
• Abide by liquor regulations for minors and intoxicated guests.
• Familiar with all menu items, preparation, and service procedures.
• Totals checks, presents to guests, and accepts payment.
• Assists with bussing tables.
• Perform various other duties as assigned.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Seats and takes accurate food orders from guests
• Monitors food distribution, ensuring that meals are delivered to the correct recipients and that food is properly prepared and nicely presented and/or the buffet is appealing.
• Check station before, during and after shift for proper set-up and cleanliness.
• Abide by all State, Federal, and Corporate liquor regulations of serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests.
• Must be familiar with all menu items, their preparation, and service procedure.
• Totals checks, presents to guests, and accepts payment
• Assists with bussing tables
• Perform various other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of High School education, post-high school education preferred
• Minimum of one (1) year in a hotel/restaurant serving role preferred

KNO WLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Team player

• Ability to operate available equipment, such as cash registers, calculators, etc.
