Job summary

The Valorian Los Angeles, part of Davidson Hospitality Group, is seeking a personable Server to deliver exceptional dining experiences above the Sunset Strip. You will welcome guests, guide them through menu choices, and ensure timely, accurate orders with a focus on presentation and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must have Food/Beverage Service Permit where applicable.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 6 months to 1 year serving experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and ability to work in a team.
• Fluent English (read, write and speak).
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
• Knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Meet minimum age requirement of jurisdiction.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a warm and friendly demeanor and make a strong first impression.
• Guide guests through the menu, provide recommendations and answer questions.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay to kitchen and bar.

• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Meet minimum age requirement of jurisdiction
