Job summary
Culinary Khancepts, operator of Liberty Kitchen, seeks a personable server to welcome guests, present menus, and guide dining with thoughtful recommendations. You will educate guests on offerings and ensure a memorable experience through hospitality and accuracy.
In a fast-paced team environment, you’ll stay updated on menus, assist with drink and wine service, handle transactions, and uphold safety and service excellence to delight guests.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED is required.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in fine dining or casual dining.
- Able to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
- Must stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 lbs.
- Customer service focused with a solution-oriented mindset.
- Flexible schedule and ability to work as needed.
- Food Handler and TABC certifications are required.
Responsibilities
- Stay updated on current menu choices and edits.
- Present menus and suggest dishes, assist with drink choices.
- Deliver items, fulfill guest needs, and upsell desserts and drinks.
- Open and pour wine at tableside.
- Perform basic cleaning tasks as needed.
- Assist with special events as needed.
- Greet guests warmly and communicate offerings clearly.
- Understand products and services available.
- Provide friendly service with hospitality and safety in mind.
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately.

As a server at Liberty Kitchen, you have the protentional to earn up to $43.00 an hour. We truly care about providing a memorable and hospitable experience. Our servers are always welcoming and accommodating to our guests, with the ability to educate and guide their experience to create lasting memories. You have a desire to expand your knowledge of our offerings and be creative with your recommendations, using suggestive selling where appropriate. You work quickly, love being part of a team and are capable of solving problems in stride.
- Staying updated on current menu choices, specialties and menu edits
- Presenting menus, suggesting dishes, assisting in drink selection, informing guests about food preparation details
- Maintaining proper dining experience, delivering items, fulfilling customer needs, offering desserts and drinks, removing courses, replenishing utensils, refilling glasses
- Properly open and pour wine at the tableside
- Performing basic cleaning tasks as needed
- Assisting with special events as needed
- Greet all guests in a hospitable and warm manner
- Understand and communicate all products and services available
- Must have some familiarity with basic food knowledge
- Commit to delivering high levels of customer service
- Practice appropriate/required safety and sanitation procedures at all times
- Handling cash and credit transactions, ensuring charges are accurate and returning correct change to guests.
- High School diploma or GED
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in fine dining hospitality and/or casual dining restaurant
- Able to multi-task
- Ability to stand for long period so time, lift 25 lbs., and bend, climb or work in confined spaces
- Customer service focused and solution oriented
- Must enjoy and be able to succeed in a fast-paced work environment
- Ability to work a flexible schedule based on restaurant needs
- Food Handler & TABC Certifications required
