Job summary

Willoughby Golf Club is seeking friendly and energetic servers for part-time and full-time seasonal shifts in Stuart, FL. • Ensure daily assignments and side work are completed to meet Club standards.
• Maintain knowledge of all liquors, beers, and wines available at the Club.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
• Excellent service orientation and presentation
• Excellent communication skills
• 1-2 years previous experience in a upscale restaurant, hotel, or country club environment preferred
• Knowledge of JONAS, preferred
• Responsible for food and beverage service to the members and guests, adhering to the Willoughby Golf Club standards of service.
• Complete and comprehensive knowledge of the a la carte menu is mandatory, including daily features and specials that may not be available directly on the menu.
• Accurately execute Member/Guest orders and requests in an attentive and timely fashion.
• Ensure daily assignments and side work is complete in respective areas to meet Club standards
• Possess clear knowledge of all various liquors, beer and wines available at the Club.
• Responsible for maintaining good conduct and safe working habits while in all areas and assure that others are acting safely.
• Attend all service training meetings as requested.
• Attend daily line-up and participate as requested.
• Wear a clean and neat uniform that follows Willoughby Golf Club and your property uniform standards daily
• Excellent communication skills and articulate speech.
• Ability to communicate and follow instructions.
• Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Must be able to push, pull and lift at least 30 pounds
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• May be required to work outdoors during varying degrees and weather
• Work in hot, humid, and noisy environment.

Willoughby Golf Club is a drug-free workplace, candidates must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen.
