Job summary

The Marcus Corporation’s Marcus Theatres service team is looking for friendly servers to join our hospitality-focused crew. You will play a vital role in guest service, beverage quality, and a welcoming atmosphere at the movie theater.

As part of a fast-paced, high-volume environment, you’ll learn the menu, demonstrate great hospitality, and participate in a fully paid accelerated training program with flexible or set schedules and benefits for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Passion for beverage quality and guest service.

Responsibilities

• Interact with guests in an efficient, hospitable, and professional manner.
• Demonstrate knowledge of bar and menu items.
• Assess guests' needs and preferences to make recommendations.
• Follow up on guest requests throughout service.
• Communicate any food or service issues to management immediately.
• Maintain station and service area cleanliness.
• Deliver service within established timeframes.
• Verify guests purchasing alcohol are at least 21 years old.
• Demonstrate accuracy in transactions and cash handling.
