Job summary

Senior Lifestyle is seeking a friendly, customer-focused team member to deliver food and beverages to residents and guests, ensure satisfaction, and maintain a clean, organized dining area.

Experience in food service is preferred, with training provided if needed. You will handle POS and payroll-related tasks and must communicate clearly in English while upholding professional standards with residents and coworkers.

Qualifications

• Previous food service experience is preferred, but training is provided.
• Food safety training to obtain licenses/certificates may be required.
• Clear and effective communication in English.
• Basic computer skills for POS and payroll systems.
• Ability to make independent decisions when needed.
• Ability to solve practical problems in variable situations.
• Maintain a positive and friendly demeanor with residents and co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Accept food orders, communicate to kitchen and deliver food and beverages to residents and/or guests promptly.
• Respond quickly to resident/guest needs and requests to ensure satisfaction.
• Active buss and reset tables and complete assigned side work.
• Maintain a professional demeanor toward residents, visitors and co-workers.

• Accept food order, communicate to kitchen and deliver food and beverage to residents and/or guests in a timely manner.
• Ensure resident/guest satisfaction by responding quickly to needs and requests.
• Actively buss and reset tables as well as complete assigned side work.
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor toward all residents, visitors and co-workers.

Qualifications

• Previous food service experience is preferred, however we will provide training if necessary.
• You will have to go through food safety training to obtain and/or hold any required local, state, and/or county required food handling/sanitation licenses and/or certificates.
• You need to be able to communicate clearly and effectively in English.
• Basic computer skills are needed for POS system and payroll system.
• You possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• You have the ability to solve practical problems and deal with variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
• You can maintain a positive and friendly demeanor toward the residents and your co-workers.
