Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities is hiring a Part-Time Server for our Kansas communities. You will help create an exceptional dining experience, build relationships with residents, and deliver the service guests expect from a favorite restaurant.

Schedule is part-time with varying days and hours, including weekends and holidays. You will direct residents to tables, present menus, and assist with menu and drink choices; communicate orders via our POS; and complete dining room opening/closing

Qualifications

• A big smile, eagerness to learn, and compassion for our Residents.
• If under the age of 18 must provide proper schoolwork authorization (if applicable).
• Server must currently hold a Food Handler’s Card, or be willing to obtain one facilitated by Spectrum, as required by state and/or county regulations.
• It is required for a Server to have strong customer service presentation.

Responsibilities

• Direct residents to their tables, present menus, suggest dishes and assist in drink selection.
• Communicate specific resident orders, utilizing our state-of-the-art point of sale system.
• Complete all dining room opening and closing duties as established by your community.
