Job summary

Vitality Living in Dallas, TX, is seeking a part-time Server to join our Preston Hollow community. You will serve meals, help with daily dining operations, and support resident satisfaction in a compassionate senior living environment.

As a Vitality Living team member, you will assist with special meals, ensure food safety and sanitation, and report needs to the Culinary Services Director. This role emphasizes teamwork and a commitment to our residents' well-being.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Knowledge of customer service principles and ability to evaluate satisfaction.
• Familiarity with food handling and sanitation procedures.
• Understanding of temperature safety and equipment sanitation.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals to residents and ensure satisfaction with dining experiences.
• Record guest meals and report to the Dining Services Director.
• Identify department needs and report concerns to Culinary Services Director.
• Assist in meal prep for special events and maintain dining room cleanliness.
• Ensure adherence to infection control policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Culinary Services, Sous Chef, or Cook(s).

As a Vitality Living Server, you will impact lives as you:

• Serve delicious meals and ensure resident satisfaction
• Record guest meals and report to Business Office Director
• Recognize needs of the department and report concerns to the Culinary Services Director
• Assist in preparations for special meals and parties, as well as daily operations and cleaning of the dining room and server areas
• Ensure adherence to procedures regarding community infection control policies
• Perform other duties as assigned by Culinary Services, Sous Chef, or Cook(s)

• Ability to demonstrate adherence to proper food handling and sanitation procedures
• Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal service; including meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction
• Understands food safety procedures (e.g. temperature safety), sanitation of equipment measures, and storage techniques
• Ability to have awareness of team dynamic, inventory, safety and cleanliness
