Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities is hiring a part-time Server to help create a welcoming dining experience for residents. You will guide guests to tables, present menus, suggest dishes and assist with drink choices, while using our POS system to process orders.

The role emphasizes friendly interactions, strong service standards and adherence to safety requirements. Vaccination is encouraged but not required, and Spectrum promotes equal opportunity employment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a restaurant or senior living dining setting is preferred.
• Server must hold a Food Handler's Card or be willing to obtain one.
• Strong customer-service presentation and friendly demeanor are required.

Job Description

Salary: $15.50 - $16.50 per hour, based on experience

Schedule: Part Time

As a Server in our community restaurant, YOU… help create an incredible dining experience; build relationships with residents; and consistently deliver the service a guest would expect in their favorite restaurant. Their satisfaction starts with YOU!

• As a Server, you will direct residents to their tables, present menus, suggest dishes and assist in drink selection.
• Communicate specific resident orders, utilizing our state-of-the-art point of sale system.
• Complete all dining room opening and closing duties as established by your community.

Qualifications

To be successful in this position, we believe that you need the following experiences, strengths, and skills:

• A big smile, eagerness to learn, and compassion for our Residents.
• If under the age of 18, must provide proper schoolwork authorization(if applicable).
• Servermust currently hold a Food Handler’s Card, or be willing to obtain one facilitated by Spectrum, as required by state and/or county regulations.
• It is required for a Server to have strong customer service presentation.
