Job summary

SSP America is seeking team members to join as servers. The role involves taking orders, handling payments, serving drinks and food, and maintaining a clean work area. On-Demand Pay via Fuego is available, with hours in the current pay period determining advance wages.

We offer full-time and part-time positions to join our team today. Expect responsibilities such as accurate order entry, cash handling, and serving guests across a variety of beverages and foods.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service.
• Verbal and written English language.
• Ability to read, speak, and understand English to communicate with guests.
• Basic mathematical skills necessary to operate a cash register, make change, total guest checks, count total bank.
• Brand certification as required.
• Ability to operate a keyboard & point of sale procedures to pre-check and order & close out a check.
• Ability to work and stand in confined spaces for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Process orders and enter them accurately into the POS system.
• Receive payment from the customer and process change.
• Serve cold, frozen, and hot drinks as well as a wide variety of food items to guests.
• Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Ensure that the work area is clean throughout the day.
• Clean equipment and utensils, remove trash, sweep and mop work area.
• Other duties as assigned.
