Job summary

Cheeky, operated by The Neighborhood Dining Group, is seeking a confident Server for its Charleston, SC location to deliver exceptional hospitality in a fast-paced, upscale setting. You will guide guests through the menu, describe dishes and beverages, and ensure a seamless dining experience from seating to payment.

We welcome candidates with 1+ year of high-volume dining experience who communicate well and maintain a polished, professional demeanor.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ year of experience in upscale dining.
• Confident discussing food, wine, spirits, and cocktails.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work with urgency.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly with warmth and professionalism.
• Guide guests through the menu with detailed knowledge of dishes and beverages.
• Take accurate orders and input them into the POS system.
• Deliver food and drinks in a timely, attentive manner.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and respond to needs and concerns.
• Collaborate with bartenders, kitchen staff, and server assistants to ensure seamless service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned sections.
• Handle payments accurately using the POS system.
• Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.

Server - Cheeky (Charleston, SC)
Cheeky is a high energy seafood restaurant celebrating pristine coastal ingredients, pouring great cocktails and vibrant wines and bubbles, buzzing with lively indoor-outdoor energy, and defined by warm spirited hospitality.

Cheeky is seeking confident, engaging, and knowledgeable Servers to join our team!

Position Availability:

Cheeky will be open for both lunch and dinner. We will have daytime, nighttime, full-time, and part-time positions available for all roles.

We’re seeking an experienced, energetic, and guest-focused Server to deliver exceptional service in a fast-paced, upscale environment.

• Deliver food and drinks in a timely, attentive manner
• Monitor guest satisfaction and respond promptly to guest needs and concerns
• Collaborate with team members (bartenders, kitchen staff, server assistants) to ensure seamless service
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned sections and service areas
• Handle payments accurately and process checks using the POS system
• Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
• Uphold the standards of service and hospitality expected in a fine dining environment

What You'll Bring:

• Experienced in high-volume, upscale dining (minimum 1+ year preferred)
• Knowledgeable and confident discussing food, wine, spirits, and cocktails
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and works with a sense of urgency
• Strong communicator with a polished and professional demeanor
