Job summary

Delaware North at Holiday Inn Estes Park in Estes Park, Colorado is seeking a Server on a full-time or part-time basis to provide guests with memorable dining experiences and outstanding service.

This tipped position pays $12.14 per hour (plus potential tips) and includes benefits for eligible full-time team members. You will greet guests, take orders, serve beverages, handle payments, and work closely with kitchen and bar staff in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in cash handling and credit card processing.
• Experience as a server in a high-volume environment is preferred.
• No high school diploma or GED required.

What will you do?

• Greet and attend to guests’ needs, provide menus, clearly communicate restaurant specials, answer menu questions, and collect food and beverage orders

• Serve alcoholic beverages responsibly, adhering to all alcohol service policies and procedures

• Accurately enter orders into the point-of-sale system and process payments, as well as prepare and deliver the check to guests

• Collaborate with other restaurant servers, kitchen, and bar staff

• Perform opening, closing, cleaning, and side work duties, as assigned, and ensure all equipment and workspaces are clean, sanitized, organized, and functioning

More about you

• Experience in cash handling and credit card processing

• Beneficial if you have one year of experience as a server in a high-volume environment and experience with a point-of-sale system in a service or hospitality environment

• No high school diploma or GED required

Physical requirements

• Must be able to lift 35 lbs, as well as stand, walk, bending for long periods of time, which may include walking up stairs

• Visual awareness and hearing sufficient to take orders and prepare checks
