Job summary

12 Oaks Management is seeking a dining server for an assisted living community in St. George, UT. You will greet residents, take and deliver orders, and ensure timely, courteous meal service.

Responsibilities include setting tables, bussing, restocking condiments, and maintaining a clean, safe dining area in accordance with sanitation guidelines. Prior experience in assisted living is preferred; HS diploma or GED is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• At least one year of experience in an assisted living community preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents warmly and serve meals and beverages promptly.
• Set tables before meals and reset after dining.
• Take orders and ensure courteous service.
• Provide feedback on meals and preferences to the Food Service Director.
• Assist with dining room cleanup and sanitation.
• Restock condiments and keep dining areas orderly.
• Follow safety and sanitation rules and perform other duties as assigned.

Server Responsibilities

• Adheres to and conveys a philosophy that supports the dignity, privacy, independence, choice, and individuality of residents
• Greets all residents in a warm, sincere, and helpful manner
• Sets tables before meals
• Takes orders and serves meals and beverages promptly and courteously
• Provides feedback from residents to the Director of Food Service regarding meals and food preferences
• Busses and resets tables in the dining room following meals
• Restocks dining room tables with condiments
• Cleans the dining room after meals
• Follows safety and sanitation rules and practices
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Physical Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• At least one year of experience in an assisted living community preferred
