Troon is seeking a full-time Server at Sterling Grove in Surprise, AZ. The role requires delivering attentive service, describing daily specials, and taking orders with accuracy.

You will work closely with the team to ensure guest satisfaction and uphold service standards in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED and two years of serving experience, with the ability to handle alcohol responsibly and maintain reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests, delivering prompt attentive service.
• Describe daily specials and menu items, offering recommendations.
• Take orders and deliver them promptly after preparation.
• Check back with guests to ensure satisfaction.
• Participate in pre-shift meetings and tastings.
• Maintain organized workstation and assist with side work.
• Handle checks and cash, using the POS system.
• Follow established order-taking, delivery, and service standards.
• Provide courteous cocktail and food service.
• Practice tray service for all offerings.
• Follow safe work practices and assist with other duties.
• Assist in other duties as required.

Sterling Grove, located in Surprise, AZ, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a full-time Server! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Key Responsibilities of the Server:

• Provides immediate attention to all guests upon seating.
• Describes specials of the day to the guests. Answers questions regarding any menu item and offers suggestions of menu items when appropriate.
• Takes food and beverage orders from guests and delivers food to guests promptly after preparation.
• Follows-up with guest to ensure satisfaction. Replenishes items as needed.
• Participates in pre-shift meetings and taste tests.
• Maintains organized workstation and side work duties.
• Accountable for checks and cash transactions. Utilizes Point of Sales System.
• Follows established systems for taking, placing, and delivering orders.
• Follows established standards for greeting, cocktail service, food delivery and general service techniques.
• Practices tray service for all food and beverage service.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Performs other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications for the Server:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and two years serving experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to meet state age requirements for handling alcohol for this position.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Country Club experience preferred
