Job summary

The Sheridan at Oak Brook is hiring a team member to support dining services for residents and guests. You will take food orders, relay to the kitchen, and deliver meals in a timely manner, ensuring a warm, friendly service experience.

No experience is required, though previous food service is welcome. You will receive food safety training, learn POS and payroll systems, and be supported by a comprehensive benefits package and daily pay options.

Qualifications

• No experience is necessary; training provided.
• Food safety training required to obtain licenses/certificates.
• Must communicate clearly in English.
• Basic computer skills for POS and payroll systems.
• Able to make independent decisions when needed.
• Ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization.

Qualifications

• You will have to go through food safety training to obtain and/or hold any required local, state, and/or county required food handling/sanitation licenses and/or certificates.
• You need to be able to communicate clearly and effectively in English.
• Basic computer skills are needed for POS system and payroll system.
• You possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• You have the ability to solve practical problems and deal with variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
• You can maintain a positive and friendly demeanor toward the residents and your co-workers.
