Job summary

Capital Ale House is seeking a friendly Server to provide welcoming, efficient service in a busy dining environment. You will answer questions, take orders, and help guests with dining and beverage selections while maintaining POS and safety standards.

Work includes maintaining a clean, organized station, supporting teammates, and ensuring compliance with state alcohol service laws. Sundays availability is required on a rotating basis.

Qualifications

• Ability to maintain a positive and professional demeanor in a loud, high-volume environment.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift items up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Reflects positively on Capital Ale House and its staff.
• Communicates with guests in a congenial manner.
• Coordinates with managers on service quality, cleanliness, and efficiency.
• Keeps to operational deadlines and standards outlined in the Server Training Manual.
• Identifies beverage service and dining area needs and addresses issues.
• Promotes the company's marketing to guests.
• Contributes to positive morale of staff.
• Assists in staff training and trainee development in the service area.
• Ensures safety and security of staff and guests per company policies.
• Treats all guests and staff with dignity and respect.
