Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in East Brunswick, NJ is seeking a friendly Dining Server to deliver timely meal service and create a warm dining experience for residents and guests.

You will take and serve orders, assist with menu selections, bus and reset tables, and help maintain a clean dining room while following safety standards. This role offers benefits and a supportive team in a caring senior living community.

Responsibilities

• Take and deliver food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
• Assist residents with menu selections and provide general menu descriptions
• Bus and reset tables per community standards
• Maintain a clean, organized dining room and bistro
• Complete assigned side work and opening/closing duties
• Attend pre-meal meetings to review menu offerings
• Use Sunrise systems for accurate order entry and meal delivery
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control standards
• You help cultivate a hospitable environment by building positive connections and delivering excellent service every shift

Pay Range: 15.92 - 19.90

In addition to base compensation, Sunrise may offer discretionary and/or non-discretionary bonuses. The eligibility to receive such a bonus will depend on the employee's position, plan/program offered by Sunrise at the time, and required performance pursuant to the plan/program.
