Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Carlsbad, CA is seeking a Server to provide food service and customer experience within a senior living community. You will take and deliver orders, assist residents with menu choices, and help maintain a welcoming dining room for residents and guests.

This role uses Sunrise systems for accurate order entry and meal delivery, adheres to safety and sanitation standards, and supports opening/closing duties with a focus on service quality and resident satisfaction.

• Assist residents with menu selections and provide general menu descriptions
• Bus and reset tables per community standards
• Maintain a clean, organized dining room and bistro
• Complete assigned side work and opening/closing duties
• Attend pre-meal meetings to review menu offerings
• Use Sunrise systems for accurate order entry and meal delivery
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control standards
