Job summary

Compass Group USA, staffing Levy venues, is hiring part-time associates to serve guests at events and dining locations. You will greet guests, deliver food and beverages, and help maintain a clean, safe dining area with excellent service.

You’ll coordinate with back-of-house staff, handle guest requests with discretion, and contribute to a positive guest experience while following sanitation standards and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room; take food and beverages in an efficient manner.
• Delivers food promptly and professionally; follows up to assist with additional needs or requests.
• Maintain a buffet
• Communicates directly with back-of-house staff to ensure orders are delivered correctly and special requests are accommodated.
• Exhibits strong communication skills and teamwork; remains flexible and patient with guests and staff.
• Promotes a clean, safe and neat environment for guests.
• Keeps confidentiality regarding personal or medical information shared.
• Addresses complaints promptly; relays information to supervisor.
• Ensures dining room setup before and after service; maintains sanitation standards.
• Operates equipment, buffets, trays, carts, and coffee machines.
• Works with other departments during events and functions.

• Exhibits exceptional communications skills and demonstrates ability to get along well with others. Remains flexible and patient when communicating with guests and staff.
• Promotes a clean, safe and neat environment for guests.
• Maintains a high level of sensitivity and confidentiality regarding personal or medical information that is shared.
• Promptly addresses complaints or issues; relays relevant information or complaints directly to supervisor.
• Ensures that the dining room is properly set up prior to and after the service period; keeps area clean and neat while meeting established sanitation standards.
• Operates a variety of equipment, buffets, tray jacks and carts, and coffee machines.
• Works with staff of other departments to perform job duties during special events and functions.
