Job summary

Fairfield Inn & Suites Charlotte Uptown in Charlotte, NC is seeking a dedicated Bartender/Server to provide excellent service in our hotel restaurant and lounge. You will take orders, serve meals, and attend to guests with a friendly and professional demeanor.

Essential duties include greeting guests, presenting menus, taking and delivering orders, maintaining a clean dining area, handling cash and card transactions, and collaborating with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely service.

Description

Job Purpose

The Fairfield Inn & Suites Charlotte Uptown is seeking a dedicated Bartender/Server. The purpose of a Hotel Bartender/Server at Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Charlotte Uptown, you will be responsible for providing excellent service to our guests in our hotel restaurant and lounge area. You will ensure that guests have a pleasant dining experience by taking orders, serving meals, and attending to their needs with a friendly and professional demeanor. The Restaurant Server/Bartender must ensure guest satisfaction through dining room cleanliness and attention to our guests needs.

Essential Job Functions

• Greet guests warmly and assist with seating.
• Present menus and answer questions about menu items, specials, and beverage options.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
• Deliver orders to guest tables and ensure prompt and accurate service.
• Maintain a clean and organized dining area.
• Handle guest inquiries and special requests with courtesy and efficiency.
• Ensure guest satisfaction by providing attentive and personalized service.
• Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately.
• Collaborate with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely service.
• Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe dining environment.
