Job summary

Allegro Harrington Park in Harrington Park, NJ, is hiring a Dining Server for no late nights. The role is part-time, with 4–8pm shifts, including Sundays, Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, at $17 per hour.

Responsibilities include greeting and seating guests, serving and clearing, maintaining a clean dining room, delivering trays, and labeling food; prior serving experience preferred; must be at least 16 and pass background screening.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Must pay attention to detail, be flexible/adaptable, have safety awareness, and be a team player.
• Criminal Background Screening required and adherence to Drug Free Workplace policy.
• Food serving experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat residents and guests in a timely, friendly, and professional manner.
• Serve food in an efficient and professional manner.
• Clear tables and remove dishes according to protocol.
• Maintain a clean dining room; wipe down and sanitize areas after each meal period.
• Deliver and retrieve trays to residents' apartments as needed.
• Label and date all food.
• Other duties as assigned.

The primary responsibility of the Server is to accommodate residents and guests during their dining experience by attending to their needs in a friendly, timely, and professional manner.

Areas of Responsibility

• Greet and seat residents and guests in a timely and professional manner as well as approach and interact with residents and guests in a friendly, service-oriented, and professional manner.
• Serve food in an efficient and professional manner.
• Clear tables of glasses, silverware, dishes, etc. when residents and guests have finished a course or their meal according to Company protocol.
• Maintain a clean dining room. Chairs, windows, floors, and all work areas should be wiped down and sanitized after every meal period.
• Deliver and retrieve trays to and from residents’ apartments as needed.
• Label and date all food.
