Job summary

Levy Restaurants is seeking a Server Assistant to support Ravinia Festival dining operations in Highland Park, IL. The role assists servers, helps prepare the dining room, and delivers orders to tables, while maintaining proper food presentation and temperature according to HACCP standards.

Requirements include the ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand or walk for extended periods. The position offers a pay range of $9.00–$10.00 per hour plus tips and a benefits package within the Levy/Compass

Job Summary

Assists servers with various dining room activities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Supports servers in preparing the dining room and table sets.
• Delivers orders to the table. Busses table.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Ensures proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of serving temperatures; follows HACCP standards.
• Personal commitment to your own safety and that of others.
• Abides by all Company policies and procedures including but not limited to:
  • The use of a medium weight cut gloves when handling or using knives, peelers, choppers, mandolins or cleaning a slicer.
  • The use of oven mitts, fryer gloves or steamer gloves when handling hot pans from ovens, warmers or steamtables.
  • The use of slip-resistant shoes and proper lifting techniques.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to walk or stand for long periods of time.
