Job summary

Opry Entertainment Group is seeking a Server Assistant for its Las Vegas live entertainment venues. The role focuses on delivering guest service, bussing tables, and maintaining clean dining areas across restaurant, bar, and live venue spaces.

Ideal candidates will be efficient, reliable, and eager to grow in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to work during evenings, weekends, and holidays, with required certifications including Alcohol Education and Food Handler Safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in restaurant operations preferred.
• Effective interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated team player and self-starter.
• Able to work during peak times, including evenings, weekends and holidays, to support business needs.
• State Alcohol Education Card required upon hire.
• State Food Handler Safety Card required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Bus tables continuously throughout the shift and clear/reset within three minutes of guest departure.
• Communicate with service staff to meet guest needs and resolve issues with a professional, positive attitude.
• Properly dispose of trash and recyclables; keep receptacles clean and odor-free.
• Keep floors hazard-free by cleaning spills and debris immediately and using floor signs as needed.
• Report damage to facilities or furniture to management.
• Maintain clean and professional appearance and uniforms per standards.
• Follow sanitation procedures in public areas and back of house during and after service.
• Attend pre-shift meetings and perform opening/running/closing duties.
• Model company service basics and follow all policies, safety procedures, and brand SOPs; report issues promptly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

As a Server Assistant in our legendary music and entertainment venues, you'll deliver exceptional guestservice and increase the efficiency and productivity of the front-of-house team. You'll clean and resettables and maintain dining areas at a restaurant, bar, and live entertainment destination. As the idealcandidate you're efficient, reliable, and eager to grow in a fast-paced live music venue.

• Continually bus tables throughout the shift. Clear and reset tables within three minutes of guest departure.
• Communicate with service staff to quickly meet guest needs. Respond to concerns and resolve issues with a professional, positive attitude.
• Put all trash and recyclable products in proper receptacles. Make sure trash receptacles are clean and odor-free.
• Ensure floors are free of potential hazards. Clean all spills, moisture, debris, and other obstacles immediately. Use floor signs to caution guests and staff.
• Report damage to facility property, including furniture and fixtures, to management.
• Adhere to quality expectations and standards, including clean and professional uniforms and personal appearance.
• Maintain clean and orderly food service environment during and after service. Follow sanitation procedures required by health regulatory agencies in both public areas and back of house.
• Attend pre-shift meetings. Perform defined opening/running/closing duties.
• Model company service basics. Follow all corporate policies, safety and security procedures, and brand SOPs. Promptly report accidents, facility issues, or unsafe conditions to management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

Speak, hear, and use non-verbal cues to communicate with guests. Stand and walk for extended periods, while carrying items. Stand and walk for extended periods, including on uneven surfaces and while carrying items. Walk up and down stairs while navigating the venue. Regularly lift and carry up to 50 lbs., and frequently sit, kneel, bend, and reach to move goods. Manual dexterity for tasks such as using a computer and handling dishes.

Working Conditions

Restaurant/bar/live music environments subject to both kitchen and customer areas with large crowds and elevated noise levels.
