Parkway-Prime-Steakhouse- in Niagara Falls, NY is seeking a Server Assistant to support servers and ensure tables are cleared, cleaned and properly set for guests. You will prepare beverages, assist with payment processing, remove trash, and help with end-of-day cleanup. Availability for nights, weekends and holidays is required.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and physical stamina to stand, bend, and lift as needed while delivering friendly, efficient service to guests.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes guests, escorts to tables, provides menus.
• Clears dirty plates, utensils and glassware as required.
• Carries dirty tableware to kitchen area.
• Prepares tables for arriving guests and sets up tableware, napkins, condiments.
• Delivers food to tables when servers are busy.
• Responds to guest requests and informs management of any complaints.
• Arranges tables and chairs for larger groups.
• Maintains stock at server station with necessary restaurant supplies.
• Keeps dining and bar areas clean and tidy, including floors and menus.

The Server Assistants responsibilities include preparing and refilling beverages, assisting Servers with processing payments, removing trash, and sanitizing restaurant menus. You should also be able to perform end-of-day clean-up duties.QUALIFICATIONS:High school degree or equivalent.Availability nights, weekends, and holidays.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Welcome guests, escorting them to their tables, and providing them with menus.Clearing dirty plates, utensils, and glassware from tables as required.Carrying dirty tableware to the kitchen area.Preparing tables for arriving guests by wiping up spills, clearing away crumbs, replacing soiled linen, and setting up tableware, napkins, and condiments.Delivering food to tables when Servers are busy.Responding to guests requests and informing management of any complaints.Arranging tables and chairs to accommodate larger groups.Ensuring that the server station is adequately stocked with necessary restaurant supplies.Maintain cleanliness of the dining and bar areas by wiping down tables, chairs, counters, walls, bases and windows, vacuuming and sweeping floors, mopping floors, sanitizing menus, clearing dirty dishes, removing spills and ensuring the overall tidiness of the restaurant, often while actively serving customers.
