Job summary

Woodfield Country Club in Boca Raton is seeking energetic Server Assistants/Food Runners to support our dining venues during the upcoming season. This entry-level role focuses on secondary service, assisting the service staff, and ensuring a seamless guest experience in our upscale environment.

Part-time and full-time hours are available, with lunch and dinner shifts. Weekend and holiday availability is required to fit our member-focused restaurant operations.

Qualifications

• Excellent service orientation.
• Excellent communication and service skills.
• Previous experience in an upscale restaurant, hotel, or country club environment is preferred.
• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Carries dirty dishes from dining room to kitchen.
• Wipes table tops and chairs with damp cloth.
• Replaces soiled table linens and sets tables with silverware and glassware.
• Replenishes supply of clean linens, silverware, glassware, and dishes in dining room.
• Serves ice water, bread, and butter to patrons.
• Cleans and polishes glass shelves and doors of service bars and equipment such as coffee urns, cream, and milk dispensers.
• Makes coffee and fills fruit juice dispensers.
• Sweeps and mops service carpets and floors during business hours.
• Other duties may be assigned by manager.

The server assistant is an exciting entry-level opportunity, responsible for all facets of secondary service, supporting the service staff, and maintaining the overall dining venues.
