The Italiano - Scottsdale is seeking a Server Assistant to support servers and maintain guest-ready dining areas in a busy Scottsdale restaurant. This role focuses on delivering timely service, assisting with guest needs, and upholding high standards of cleanliness and food safety.

Qualifications

• 6 months of experience in a high-volume restaurant preferred.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Professional, dependable, and punctual.
• Understanding of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds and carry trays safely.
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Current Food Handler Card or ability to obtain one before employment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dining areas before service by setting tables, silverware, glassware, napkins, and condiments.
• Assist servers in providing outstanding guest experiences.
• Deliver food and requested items to guests quickly and accurately.
• Remove used dishes, glassware, and utensils throughout service.
• Clean, reset, and prepare tables efficiently for incoming guests.
• Act as a communication link between Front of House and Back of House teams.
• Maintain clean, organized, and guest-ready dining areas.
• Respond promptly to guest needs and communicate requests to servers.
• Follow all health, sanitation, and food safety standards.
• Support the team wherever needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
