Job summary

Kessler Hotels in Greenville, SC is seeking a Server Assistant to support restaurant servers and deliver high levels of hospitality. This role focuses on clearing tables, assisting with service, and maintaining clean dining areas to ensure a smooth guest experience.

Responsibilities include assisting with beverages, table setups, and coordinating with kitchen and front-of-house staff. Candidates should have prior food and beverage exposure, endurance for busy periods, and the ability to lift up

Qualifications

• Previous experience within food and beverage a plus
• Must be comfortable working in a shared space, with constant noise.
• Schedules may vary from week to week based on business demands in excess of 40 hours with or without notice.
• Push, pull, and lift up to 50lbs on a weekly basis.
• While performing the duties of this job, the incumbent is regularly required to travel by foot, waiting and standing for long and short periods of time.

• Clears and resets counters or tables at conclusion of each course.
• Assists dining room waiters in the food and beverage service, set tables, serve guests as directed by the waiter, keep menus clean, clean table between servings, menu knowledge.
• Assists with providing tables with beverages.
• Removes solid linens and replaces with clean linen.
• Transports dirty dishes to dishwashing station.
• Polish silver and glass as needed.
• Experience in delivering exceptional service and hospitality.
• Display clear communication with the kitchen and front of house staff.
• Attention to detail and knowledge of proper plate presentation.
• Knowledge of all the ingredient details of every dish on the menu.
• Delivering food to guest quickly and efficiently.
