Specific Functions and Duties
- Busses tables and provides assistance to servers with guest needs.
- Interacts with all guests creating a friendly and upbeat atmosphere.
- Carries food and drinks to all areas of the restaurant throughout the entire shift.
- Provides refills of beverages to guests.
- Checks and ensures the overall cleanliness of the restrooms on a regular basis.
- Restocks service items for bartenders, i.e., glasses, bar garnishes, ice, and beer.
- Restocks service items for servers, i.e., glasses, ice, plates, rolling silverware.
- Empties trash cans when needed.
Qualification Standards
- Reading, writing and verbal communication skills required.
- Mobility required during the entire shift.
- Transports and carries objects up to 15 pounds on a regular basis.
- Ability to wipe down table tops, table legs, pick up debris off the floor and wipe down booth seats in all areas of the restaurant.
- Must possess and/or obtain a valid Food Handlers Card prior to employment.
- In Oregon must possess and/or obtain a valid OLCC Card to serve alcohol within 30 days of employment.
- Must be 18 years of age to work evening shift.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to stand and exert a well‑paced mobility for periods up to four hours in length.
- Must be able to speak clearly and listen attentively to guests and other staff members.
- Transports glass racks and cases up to 25 pounds.
Wages
- Merit increases based upon performance.
