Job summary

The Westin Tampa Bay, part of Pyramid Global Hospitality, is seeking a motivated Room Service Runner to join our team. You will take guests' orders by phone and deliver food and beverages to rooms, ensuring accuracy and timely service in a fast-paced, luxury environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in guest-facing roles preferred.
• Excellent communication and personal presentation.

Responsibilities

• Be familiar with menus, ingredients, and wine lists; know hours of operation for outlets.
• Take guest orders over the phone and deliver food and beverages to rooms.
• Submit signed checks and reconcile daily sales.
• Assist with collection of room service trays and maintain cleanliness and service etiquette.
• Provide courteous, professional service and consistent high standards.

Room Service is responsible for taking guests’ orders over the phone and delivering food & beverage to guest rooms. They are responsible for ensuring accurate food orders as well as timely delivery.If making meaningful connections, figuring out what it takes and stepping it up to win the day is what you do, and you love it, we want you! This is a tremendous opportunity for a driven person to grow and learn at a world-class property!Your role:Be thoroughly familiar with the menus, ingredients, and methods of preparation for each dish, wine list, as well as hours of operation for all food and beverage outlets.Has a thorough knowledge of the room layout and the property in general. Is knowledgeable about the hotel and its amenities.Collects orders from the kitchen, ensuring they have been prepared correctly; and promptly and efficiently deliver to the guest’s room.Will submit signed checks and reconciling daily salesAssists with the collection of Room Service trays and other food and beverage items from the guest rooms.
