Job summary

Main Event is seeking a part-time Server Assistant in San Antonio West, TX to support servers and ensure guests have a great dining experience. You will help with refills, pre-bussing, and table turns, while keeping dining areas clean and safe.

Prior food service helps, certifications may be required, and you will work with a team in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include greeting guests, taking drink orders, delivering food and drinks promptly, and maintaining high sanitation

Qualifications

• Prior food and beverage experience a plus, but not required.
• Guest focused mindset.
• Teamwork is a must.
• Food Handlers Certification and Alcohol Certification, as required.
• Communicates effectively.
• Sense of urgency and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem solving and multi-tasking skills.
• Can effectively communicate with Management, Team Members, and Guests.
• Availability to work days, nights and/or weekends.

As a Server Assistant, your primary duty is to help with refills, pre-bussing tables and helping with table turns, and making sure the dining areas are spotlessly clean! You also assist with aspects of service like greeting Guests and taking drink overs.
