Job summary

KPOT Korean BBQ & Hot Pot in Fayetteville, NC is seeking a friendly Food Runner/Busser to connect the dining room with the kitchen and ensure a smooth, high-energy service. You will greet guests, answer menu questions, relay special requests and allergy notes to the kitchen, and help reset tables quickly while staying energized and guest-focused in a fast-paced environment.

Prior restaurant experience is not required, but strong communication and teamwork are essential in maintaining world-class

Responsibilities

• Greet all guests promptly and warmly upon arrival.
• Answer guest questions regarding the menu and KPOT brand.
• Provide accurate information regarding menu, pricing, hours, promotions, and policies.
• Listen attentively to guests to ensure their needs are met.
• Assist with side work and opening/closing tasks.
• Observe and monitor table turnover by taking note of occupied, dirty or clean tables.
• Support the front-of-house team in resetting tables quickly to seamlessly transition tables to guests.
• Inform management of large parties, special requests, or guest concerns.
• Communicate clearly and concisely with the kitchen staff and management regarding allergy orders.
• Maintain a positive, energetic, and hospitality-focused attitude at all times.
• Multi-task and balance between bar and dining room orders.
• Be a team player, assisting other team members whenever needed to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned.

ROLE OVERVIEW

Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8–10 hours per shift).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25–50 pounds.
• Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive movements in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work in varying conditions, including heat, cold, and noise.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
