Job summary

Main Event Entertainment is seeking a Server Assistant to support servers and ensure guests have an amazing experience. You will help with refills, pre-bussing, table turns, and keeping dining areas spotless while greeting guests and taking drink orders.

Safety and sanitation are emphasized as top priorities. Daily duties include delivering food and drinks, assisting with keeping tables ready, and providing attentive service to create memorable experiences for guests.

Qualifications

• Prior food and beverage experience is a plus, but not required.
• Guest-focused mindset and strong teamwork.
• Effective communication and sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment.
• Food Handlers Certification and Alcohol Certification, as required.
• Ability to communicate with Management, Team Members and Guests.

Responsibilities

Job Description: At Main Event, our Server Assistants are there to support the Server to ensure that our Guests have an amazing experience! As a Server Assistant, your primary duty is to help with refills, pre-bussing tables and helping with table turns, and making sure the dining areas are spotlessly clean! You also assist with aspects of service like greeting Guests and taking drink overs. You’re also dedicated to delivering the highest standards in safety and sanitation.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING DAILY?

Upholding our cleanliness and safety standards (We take this seriously!) Assisting with greeting Guests and taking drink orders Delivering food and drinks in a timely manner and anticipating Guest’s needs Supporting the Server, by refilling condiments, pre-bussing tables and turning tables Creating memorable experiences by providing exceptional service Performing opening, mid-day or closing duties

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Prior food and beverage experience a plus, but not required Guest focused mindset (We heart our Guests!) Teamwork is a must (Teamwork makes the dream work!) Food Handlers Certification and Alcohol Certification, as required Communicates effectively Sense of urgency and comfortable in a fast-paced environment Strong problem solving and multi-tasking skills Can effectively communicate with Management, Team Members, and Guests Availability to work days, nights and/or weekends
