Job summary

Starwood Hotels in Austin is seeking a hardworking Restaurant Server for Alteno to deliver exceptional guest service and support the F&B team in a fast-paced fine dining environment.

You will maintain full menu knowledge, make recommendations, assist fellow servers and bussers, ensure clean, organized service areas, and uphold sanitation and safety standards while providing attentive, friendly service to every guest.

Qualifications

• Prior serving experience
• Experience multitasking in a busy restaurant environment
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs and stand for long periods
• Food handling certification (can be obtained during employment)

Responsibilities

• Serve guests in the Restaurant/Bar and fulfill guests' service needs
• Maintain knowledge of full menu and provide recommendations
• Observe dining experience and respond to guest requests promptly
• Process guest checks and ensure accurate payments
• Keep service areas clean, stocked and organized
• Assist busser or fellow servers as needed
