Denny's, Inc. in Nashua, NH is seeking a friendly and energetic server to join our Front of House team. You will welcome guests, take orders, and ensure timely delivery of meals and beverages while providing attentive service.

You will also upsell menu items, guide guests through choices, and explain the Denny's Rewards program. This role includes cash handling and collaboration with both front and back of house staff to maintain smooth service.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Server, Waiter, Waitress, FOH Staff, or in customer service preferred.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Confidence in upselling, menu recommendations, and guest engagement.
• Basic math and cash-handling skills.

What You'll Do:

• Welcome guests and provide attentive service throughout their visit
• Take orders accurately and relay them clearly to the kitchen
• Deliver food and beverages promptly and correctly
• Use upselling skills to recommend specials, combos, and popular menu items
• Ask guiding questions to help guests make selections (e.g. 'Would you like to add a side or are you ready for dessert?')
• Offer confident menu recommendations based on guest preferences
• Invite guests to join the Denny's Rewards Program, explaining benefits such as exclusive offers, birthday treats, and earning points toward free meals
• Process payments efficiently (cash, card, digital)
• Work collaboratively with FOH and BOH team members to ensure smooth service

What We're Looking For:

• Experience as a Server, Waiter, Waitress, FOH Staff, or in customer service preferred
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Confidence in upselling, menu recommendations, and guest engagement
• Basic math and cash-handling skills
• Must be 18+
