Qualifications

Touchmark at Fairway Village is Southwest Washington’s premier retirement community, providing exceptional service and quality housing for residents and their families.

Responsibilities

Dining Room Servers serve meals in three of our five dining rooms, including the spacious Courtside dining room. Responsibilities include greeting guests, taking orders, entering orders into the dining system, communicating with coworkers, cooks, and management, serving meals, bussing tables, and performing side work such as folding linens and cleaning dining rooms.

Servers participate in breakfast, lunch, and dinner service seven days a week and may work short shifts or special event service. Scheduling is posted three weeks in advance; most positions are part‑time, with full‑time positions (30+ hours per week) eligible for benefits after 90 days.

Requirements

• Available to work Saturdays and Sundays when needed.
• Must have a valid Washington State Food Handler’s card, or obtain one prior to employment.
• Must be at least 16 years old at the date of hire; minors in high school must obtain parental and school consent.
• Must pass a criminal background check.
• Willing to take a tuberculosis test on site.
• Cheerful, enthusiastic, team‑player. Able to stand for a full shift and carry trays of food and beverages.
• No specific server experience required; prior experience is a bonus.
• Experience working with older adults is a bonus.
