Job summary

Independence Village Fishers South is seeking a friendly Server to join our dining team on a part-time basis (4pm–8pm). You will serve meals with professionalism, keep dining areas clean, and help ensure residents and guests have a positive dining experience.

Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not required. The role emphasizes teamwork, excellent customer service, and adherence to safe food handling and sanitation standards in a supportive senior living community.

• Follow all Dining Services Standards of service.

As a Server you will perform a variety of food service functions and maintain clean and sanitary conditions of service area facilities and equipment. You will take on a rewarding position with an innovative company where hard work pays off and advancement is always a possibility.

Required Experience for Server

General Working Conditions

This position entails standing for long periods of time.

While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to communicate effectively with others sit stand walk and use hands to handle keyboard telephone paper files and other equipment and objects.

The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms.

This position requires employee to effectively present information in one on one a small group situation with residents guests and other associates.

This position requires the ability to review detailed documents and read computer screens.

The employee will occasionally lift andor move up to 25 pounds.

The work environment requires appropriate interaction with others.

Employee must be able to read write and speak fluent English.

The noise level in the work environment is moderate.

Occasional travel to different locations may be required.
