Job summary

Heritage Ministries in Clarence Center, NY is seeking a part-time Server to join our dining services team. You will follow resident menus, assist in meal service, and help maintain a clean dining area within a supportive care environment.

Responsibilities include following menus on the tray line, delivering meals and nourishments, and aiding kitchen staff. A high school diploma and health screening are preferred; benefits include 401k, paid training, education assistance, and an employee

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED/TASC preferred.
• Must meet health assessment requirements.
• Ability to lift 60 pounds and to sit, stand, bend, and twist as needed.

Responsibilities

• Performs food preparation tasks as assigned by the cook or supervisor.
• Follow resident menus accurately on the tray line.
• Delivers food carts/prepared meals to the designated dining room and ensures carts are returned to the kitchen.
• Assists in serving the meals to residents.
• Collects and removes trash and garbage as necessary.
• Delivers nourishments to nursing units and/or resident rooms as required.

• Ability to lift 60 pounds if necessary with the ability to sit, walk, bend, and twist. Ability to engage in repetitive motions for extended times required.
