Job summary

LEV Restaurant Group in Las Vegas is seeking a part-time Server to deliver friendly, attentive service and ensure a welcoming dining experience for every guest. You will take orders, use the POS system, and engage in suggestive selling to enhance dining enjoyment.

Responsibilities include accurate order entry, timely delivery, assisting teammates, handling payments, and maintaining a clean, organized dining room. Prior fine dining experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years fine dining food and beverage server experience.
• Previous POS system experience.
• Ability to take food and beverage orders accurately and deliver timely service.

Job Summary

A Server provides friendly and responsive service to create an exceptional dining experience for all of our guests. The Front Server must be engaged and provide prompt, courteous and efficient food and beverage service where attention to detail is key. As the primary point of contact for guest interactions in the dining room, a server is responsible for selling and serving food and beverages using their knowledge, hospitality and service skills.

Essential Job Functions

• Take food and beverage orders from guests, enter orders in POS system
• Ensure that all orders are accurate and brought to each table in a timely manner
• Confirm orders with the chefs and bartenders whenever a clarification is requested
• Offer suggestions by using suggestive selling techniques (daily specials, cocktails, appetizers, entrees, desserts, and after dinner beverages)
• Perform side work at the start and end of each shift as required by service station assignment.
• Maintain cleanliness and condition of the work areas and equipment.
• Implement steps of service for guests consistently
• Ensure guests are satisfied with the food and service, respond promptly and courteously to any requests
• Prepare final bill, present check to guest, accept payment, process credit card charges or make changes (if applicable).
• Be ready and willing to assist fellow servers as situations arise.
• Assist with setting tables and rearranging tables to accommodate larger parties
• Other job tasks assigned

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time. In some instances, the entire shift
• Intermittent periods of sitting at a station or desk

• Read and visually verify information in a variety of formats (e.g., small print)
• Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines (e.g., to identify defects)
• Ability to move quickly turning from left to right or right to left
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
• Flexibility in the wrist to scoop, twist, push, pull, lift, and bend

Education

• High School Diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Minimum 2 years fine dining food and beverage server experience
• Previous POS system experience
