Job summary

Bickford Senior Living is seeking a Server in Suffolk, VA to support the culinary team and deliver a restaurant-style dining experience for residents.

You will serve meals, interact with residents, and keep the dining area and dish station clean while following established procedures.

Qualifications

• Food Handlers Card or willingness to obtain one.
• Learner's mindset and ability to adapt.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities with good communication.
• Written and verbal communication skills.
• Organizational and time management abilities.
• Good judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve food timely utilizing Bickford’s process.
• Interact with residents in the Dining Room during meals to enhance their dining experience.
• Wash dishes, pots and pans following Bickford’s dishwashing procedure.
• Complete assigned tasks from the Kitchen Rotational Cleaning Schedule.
• Maintain dining room and dish machine area to meet cleanliness expectations.

Join our DYNAMIC team at Bickford Senior Living as a Server! The Server supports the culinary team who prepares food to be served to our residents in our restaurant-style dining experience called the “Bread Basket.”.

This position offers a full suite of benefits options that vary based on employment status. Some of the benefits include, but are not limited to:
