Job summary

Moxies is seeking a hospitality‑driven team member in Texas to warmly welcome guests, recall regulars, and guide them through our locally inspired menu. You will expertly describe cocktails, beers, wines, and the food program while ensuring compliance with beverage laws and maintaining a spotless dining area.

• Know the food menu and describe it to guests.
• Follow all alcoholic beverage laws and policies.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Deliver drink orders to guests in a timely, efficient manner.

Job description

Here’s what you’ll do:

• Welcome/greet guests and know regular guests by name, preference and needs
• Know brands of beer, wine and liquor, as well as the ingredients for the most common cocktails (garnishes, proper glassware, and prices)
• Know our food inside and out. Describe and tour the menu with all our guests.
• Follow all alcoholic beverage laws, policies and regulations
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Deliver drink orders to each guest in a timely, and efficient manner

Qualifications:

• Passionate about nailing all the basics of great service
• Ready to go above and beyond to provide a hospitable experience for all our guests. Connecting with new guests and keeping our current guests coming back.
• Friendly, upbeat, outgoing, positive, social, excited to meet new people
• Interested in learning new things about food & beverage
• TABC certificate must be presented upon hiring
• Food Handler’s certificate must be presented upon hiring
