• Assist in coordinating events or parties and special dining services.

Strives to ensure service is prompt and courteous, while meeting customer’s meal expectations. Escorts patrons to tables and provides menus. Books dining reservations and arranges parties or special services for diners.## Core Responsibilities* Receives and records dining reservations via the telephone.* Ensures the proper setup of dining and service areas.* Politely request guests wait in waiting area if no table is available.* Ensures neatness and cleanliness of stations. Maintains clean and organized tables and work area.* Presents menus and makes recommendations, learns all menus and specials.* Manages event related work including setting up tables and assisting in maintaining both exterior and interior of the restaurant.* Resolves guests’ concerns in a prompt manner.*The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this job.
