The 5 Spot Sandfly in Savannah, GA is seeking a friendly Server to deliver professional dining service in a fast-paced setting. You will promote our culture, know menu items, and ensure guest satisfaction while maintaining sanitation and safety standards.

The role requires weekend/holiday availability, physical stamina, and reliable transportation; training is provided for motivated individuals. Compensation starts at $2.13 per hour plus tips, with benefits including 401K and medical coverage

Qualifications

• Two years of server experience preferred; on-the-job training available.
• Must be able to stand for 8 hours and lift up to 50 lbs.

Job Summary:

Provide professional, friendly, responsive service to create an exceptional dining experience for every guest with the goal of creating loyal, repeat customers.

Server duties will include, but are not limited to :

Knowledge and promotion of The 5 Spot culture and brand.

Knowledge of all items on our menu.

Monitor and observe guests to ensure they are happy with their food and service and respond promptly and courteously to correct any problems.

Knowledge of and the ability to adhere to sanitation and cleanliness standards.

Maintaining and contributing to a safe and respectful working environment for both staff and customers by using proper food handling skills and following workplace safety guidelines.

Developing and implementing creative solutions to areas of potential improvement.

Following all company operating policies and procedures.

Supporting the actions and decisions of Management.

Job Requirements. The ideal candidate will have:

A positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and the desire to be part of a team.

Two years of server experience, though on-the-job training will be provided for someone with no experience and a desire to serve.

The ability to stand on your feet for 8 hours, lift up to 50 lbs., bend and reach.

The ability to take direction.

The availability to work mornings, weekends, and holidays.

Reliable transportation.

Excellent verbal, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Exceptional self-discipline and punctuality.

Committed to hard work and excellence, and a willingness to go “above and beyond.”

Compensation:

$2.13 per hour plus tips
