Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living is seeking a Server to join our dining team. You will foster a clean, welcoming dining environment and provide friendly, personalized service to residents, delivering meals with care and attention to presentation.

In this role, you will assist with meal setup, respond to resident needs, and help maintain dining area readiness. This is a hands-on position within a supportive community that values service and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must follow written and oral instructions.
• Knowledge of dietary procedures and Health Department regulations for food service.
• Must be able to serve food and beverages promptly to residents.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Position mainly requires standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Takes food and beverage orders from residents and serves meals in a timely, presentable, and appetizing manner.
• Sets up and delivers meal trays and food carts to the dining room as instructed.
• Handles requests from residents who need assistance with meal selection or have specific needs.
• Sets up the dining room for the next scheduled meal.
• Assists in inventorying supplies.

Requirements

• Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.
• Must have knowledge of dietary procedures and related Health Department regulations and guidelines for food service operations.
• Must be able to serve food and beverages for residents in a prompt and efficient manner.
• Be able to lift up to 50lbs.
• This is primarily a standing position and required to stand in one place for extended periods of time.
