Job summary

North Italia in Phoenix is seeking servers to provide attentive, friendly service in a fast-paced environment. This part-time role offers solid pay with room to grow and hands-on hospitality training.

You will help guests enjoy a memorable Italian dining experience in a welcoming team. Benefits include medical, dental and vision after 25 hours/week average, paid time off after 25 hours/week average, discounted shift meals, and a 35% discount for your party when dining in as a guest.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in a high-volume restaurant.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Make guests feel comfortable and attend to their needs.
• Know regular guests by name and preferences.
• Make recommendations guests will enjoy.
• Take food and beverage orders and enter into the POS system.
• Keep dining spaces clean and presentable.
• Communicate with tables and anticipate needs.
• Go above and beyond guests' requests and respond promptly.
• Be available to fill in as needed to ensure smooth operation.

Qualifications

A person who loves authentic Italian food and has the ability to create a warm and welcoming environment. You should have at least 2 years of experience in a high volume restaurant. You have excellent English communication skills and the desire to work as a part of a team. You also will be comfortable standing for long periods of time and able to lift up to 25 pounds.
