Job summary

Harry's Seafood Bar & Grille in Ocala, FL is seeking friendly, professional servers to join our team. You will greet guests, take and input orders, deliver meals, and help maintain a clean, welcoming dining room while upholding safety and service standards.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to effectively communicate in English (verbal and written).
• Must have a courteous, friendly and professional demeanor.
• Ability to stand, walk, and carry food trays for prolonged periods of time.
• Flexible schedule - ability to work days, nights, weekends & holidays.

Responsibilities

• Service of food and/or beverage including order-taking, delivery and clearing of items.
• Checks station before, during and after shift for setup and cleanliness.
• Greets guests in a friendly and courteous manner and explains specials/promotions.
• Takes orders and inputs them into the POS to inform the kitchen.
• Retrieves orders from the kitchen, confirms accuracy and delivers to guests.
• Ascertain guest satisfaction throughout the meal service.
• Adhere to state/federal regulations and liquor policies regarding minors and intoxicated guests.
• Maintain positive attitude and teamwork.
• Aim to be a seller, not just an order taker.
• Follow safety and sanitation policies at all times.

• Service of food and/or beverage to include the order-taking, delivery and clearing of any food and/or beverage items
• Checks station before, during and after shift for proper set-up and cleanliness
• Greets the guests in a friendly and courteous manner and explain any specials and/or restaurant promotions for guest awareness
• Takes the order and inputs the order into the Point of Sale computer to inform the kitchen of the particulars of the order
• Retrieves order from kitchen, confirms its accuracy and delivers it to guests
• Ascertain guest satisfaction throughout the meal service
• Abide by all state, federal regulations and restaurant liquor policies pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests
• Ability to work with a positive attitude in a team atmosphere.
• Dedication to becoming a "seller" and not an "order taker".
• Strong attention to detail and ability to adhere to all company specs and quality standards.
• Understands the importance of practicing safety and sanitation policies at all times.

Requirements
