Job summary

Harry's Seafood Bar & Grille in Ocala, FL is seeking a part-time server to join a focused team. You will greet guests, take orders, serve food and beverages, and ensure guest satisfaction throughout the meal.

The role requires at least a year in serving, English communication, and a courteous demeanor. Training is provided; opportunities for growth and a strong benefits program includes medical, vacation, and dining discounts.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Minimum of one year serving experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate in English (verbal and written).
• Courteous, friendly and professional demeanor.
• Ability to stand, walk, and carry food trays for prolonged periods.
• Flexible schedule - days, nights, weekends & holidays.

Responsibilities

• Serve food and beverages, take orders, deliver and clear items.
• Check station for setup and cleanliness before, during, and after shifts.
• Greet guests and explain specials and promotions.
• Input orders into the Point of Sale system; inform kitchen of order details.
• Retrieve orders from kitchen, verify accuracy and deliver to guests.
• Ensure guest satisfaction throughout the meal service.
• Adhere to state and restaurant liquor policies for serving alcohol to minors and intoxicated guests.
• Maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude.
