Job summary

Tommy Bahama in Newport Beach is hiring to join our team and bring the Island Life to guests. You will participate in a professional team environment that promotes sales and service success, and you will master knowledge of our food and beverage menus.

This role involves cash handling and operating the POS, maintaining a clean, safe work environment, and supporting shifts as needed. We welcome motivated individuals who thrive in fast-paced settings and provide excellent guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
• Frequent bending/stooping/kneeling as part of shifts.
• Routine standing for the duration of the shift.
• Ability to safely operate basic kitchen and service tools.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a professional team environment that promotes sales and service success.
• Possess complete knowledge of all food and beverage menus including ingredients and presentation.
• Practice proper cash handling and operation of the point-of-sale system.

REQUIREMENTS

• Safely maneuvering the following types of equipment or machinery: Hand cart, blenders, knives, slices, wine keys and other tools provided to complete work
• Scheduled shifts determined by business needs
