We are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic individual to join our team as a Server/Bartender/Barista to help deliver exceptional service in a fun and vibrant atmosphere.

Position Overview

You will be the face of Lekker Eats. You’ll be responsible for providing exceptional service to guests by taking orders, making drinks, serving food, and ensuring a positive and friendly atmosphere. This dynamic role requires multitasking skills, attention to detail, and a passion for great food, drinks, and coffee.

Key Responsibilities

Server

• Greet guests warmly and take food and drink orders accurately.
• Serve food and beverages efficiently and in accordance with restaurant standards.
• Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase revenue.
• Ensure the dining area is clean and organized.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and requests professionally and promptly.
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth operations.

Bartender

• Prepare and serve alcoholic beverages according to drink recipes and customer preferences.
• Ensure the bar area is well-stocked, clean, and organized.
• Check IDs to verify legal drinking age.
• Create and offer drink recommendations to guests.
• Handle cash and process payments accurately.

Barista

• Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, and specialty beverages.
• Maintain cleanliness of the coffee station and ensure the equipment is in proper working order.
• Engage with guests to create a welcoming environment and build rapport.
• Prepare a variety of hot and cold beverages according to customer preferences.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a server, bartender, or barista in a fast-paced environment is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
• Knowledge of basic bartending and coffee-making techniques.
• Friendly, positive attitude and professional appearance.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
