Job summary

Sonesta International Hotels Corporation is seeking a dedicated Food Server to deliver exceptional hospitality in our dining outlets. You will provide attentive service across restaurants, lounges, and banquets, taking orders, recommending menu items, and supporting seamless dining experiences.

The ideal candidate has prior hospitality or customer service experience, strong communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant, hotel, banquet, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and guest service skills with a friendly and professional attitude.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
• Knowledge of food & beverage service, dining etiquette, POS systems, and responsible alcohol service practices preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, attentive, and professional food & beverages service across restaurants, lounge, banquet, and dining operations.
• Take guest orders accurately, answer menu questions, make recommendations, and deliver experiences throughout service.
• Serve food and beverages according to service standards and timing expectations.
• Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, beverages, and daily specials; upsell promotions.
• Process guest transactions, payments, and POS operations accurately.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and respond promptly to requests or concerns.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization across dining areas and service stations.
• Support opening/closing duties, banquet setup, and operational readiness.
• Collaborate with Culinary, Bartenders, and F&B leadership to ensure smooth operations.
