Job summary

Tatsu Ramen in Los Angeles is hiring part-time servers to join our fast-casual ramen concept across four LA locations. We’re looking for passionate, energetic team players who thrive in a busy service environment and love delivering friendly, efficient service.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, taking and delivering orders, handling FOH tasks like hosting, food running, and bussing, maintaining a clean dining area, and communicating with management.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of server experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work flexible hours.
• Able to work under pressure.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Create a warm and welcoming environment for every guest
• Work in various FOH areas: hosting, food running, to-go packing and hand off, and bussing
• Demonstrate the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while always providing a quality product and excellent customer service
• Demonstrate the ability to be self-motivated and strive for new opportunities for growth and learning
• Maintain a calm demeanor, especially during periods of high volume, to preserve a positive work environment and a hospitable experience for our guests
• Maintain the general cleanliness and organization of the dining area
• Serve happiness in the form of food and drinks
• Greet guests in a friendly and respectable manner
• Respond to any customer needs or questions
• Maintain complete knowledge and understanding of menu items
• Communicate with management about any customer issues or FOH issues
• Support other areas of the restaurant as necessary
• Other tasks as specified by management

Skills and Requirements

Working Conditions & Physical Demands

• Restaurants are equipped with ventilated air conditioning
• Noise level is moderate to high
• Temperatures vary from hot to cold
• Floors may be slippery due to the nature of the business
• Able to stand for 2-4 hours at a time
• Able to reach overhead and outwards, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push, and squat
• Able to lift, push, carry and pull items weighing up to 50 pounds or less
